Owner Portal of Hala Financing is a web app designed to provide SMEs's owners with immediate access to funds based on their transaction volume. This innovative transaction-based lending solution offers SMEs a convenient and efficient way to unlock capital for business growth.

As the product designer, I was responsible for:
Designing the entire user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) for the web app
Creating detailed designs that communicate the benefits of the lending solution and guide merchants through the application process

Research and Discovery
Gathered information about merchant needs by collaborating with the sales team and analyzing market trends
Conducted competitive analysis research
Identified regulatory requirements that affect the design, including those set by the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA), to ensure compliance with regulations
Ideation and Wireframing
Created a Lo-Fi design for the comprehensive user journey, focusing on simplicity and determining the necessary features to start based on screen flow
Developed user flows to guide merchants through the application process
Design and Prototyping
Designed high-fidelity mockups using Figma, emphasizing a clean interface that instills trust, confidence and easy-to-use in merchants
Implementation and Refinement
Worked closely with the tech department to oversee the implementation of the design, ensuring adherence to design specifications and regulatory requirements
